Played well a handful of times, once was against Liverpool in the Ince-inspired (Incespired?) 4-1 Littlewoods Cup win.
Me and a couple of mates chatted to him during a friendly vs Barkingside - this was well after he'd been sent to the reserves indefinitely - and he seemed genuinely grateful that a couple of fans were being nice to him.
He's hosted the Greenwood and Lyall lounges a few times when I've been there. Would spend the whole time with the mic slagging off Allardyce. I think the club knew he was doing this but turned a blind eye. Come to think of it, he'd fit in quite well on here.

Iirc Appeared to be playing reasonably well until Everton at home, tc coming back for the first time was given plenty of shit, mcknight let an innocuous shot under his body and we lost one nil. Was downhill all the way after that.

Norwich away...when he came right off his line, out of the area and missed the ball and their player. Think Disco Dale rounded him and scored. Our group always joked that he was going for a half time burger. Well when I say joked...we simply just said it, but it was much funnier at the time. Trust me.

Went down to southend pre season to see him and david kelly just after they signed
